Books I wanna read (but i'm broke)
Dear Reader,
Hello!
What's going on? I'm actually writing a blog for the first time in what- a month?!
I dunno what changed- my sister was on the phone and I was just about to pick up my book then I was like wait, what is this feeling? Am I actually- motivated?!! So then of course instead of doing homework, I brainstormed for about 2 seconds before thinking of this brilliant idea.
So let's begin-
I was in the new Waterstones in Kingston - It's beautiful by the way- absolutely huuuuge- and I saw so many books that I want to read, it was actually a bit overwhelming. I'm very tempted to just forget all my responsibilities and go on a crazy splurge but- that would have really bad aftermath. So instead, I'm just gonna chat to you guys about it and hopefully, you can relate of get some good ideas for Chrysler.
So I read Illuminae over summer and I still haven't read the other 2 books and I really really want to. Their so bloody gorgeous and I miss the characters, so when I saw both of them in Waterstones (which they never are because England is shit for stocking good books) I had to take a very long deep breath- and walk away.
Then as I was walking, a saw it. The beautiful in hardback- Hardback people?! Never ever have I seen a book that I really want just chilling (IN HARDBACK) on Waterstones shelves. While I was there I read the blurb and omg it just sounds amazing. And it's in Paris! Like a vampire-romance set in Paris- you can't get much better than that. But it was £17 and I have exactly 4.35 in my bank so that was a definite, but very sad, no.
Then I went to the LGTBQ+ section (you know I'm a sucker for some gay romance) and I see so many ones that I want. Like heart-stopper volume 1 and 2- how the heck have I not read them yet?! and a gentlemen's guide to vice and virtue and the ladies guide one and they were both in hardback too- whats going on with all these hardbacks and why is this happening when I'm broke?1 It's not faiiiiiir.
I also say I wish you the best which I really wanna read and girls or paper and fire which has such a pretty colour- but I have no clue if the books actually good lol.
But anywho, let's not dwell on what I can't have- I still have Christmas coming up (Waterstones gift cards allllll around) And I can't wait to actually read some of these new things. If you have any recommendations please send me an email!
