Mid-year freak out tag (but in writing because i'm not a youtuber)
Dear reader,
(I wrote this before finishing Again, But better by the way.)
Today I'm going to be doing the mid-year book-themed freak out tag because it's funny and I want to. Tada.
Question 1: Favourite read of 2019?
I could not pick one so I rounded it down to Throne of glass, Carry on, Fangirl, Red Queen and Heartless.
Question 2: The best sequel you've read?
I did not read many good sequels but my favourite was definitely Crown of midnight.
Question 3: New release you want to read but haven't yet?
I have two, the opposite of always and a curse so dark and lonely. I own both of them but I haven't picked them up yet. I know, I'm ashamed of myself too.
Question 4: The most anticipated release of the second half of 2019
Easy, wayward son. 81 days 6 hours 57 minutes and 32 seconds in counting baby!
Question 5: Biggest disappointment of 2019?
Two can keep a secret. I read one of us is lying and had really high expectations that weren't met.
Question 6: Biggest surprise of 2019?
Jessicas Ghost was a book club book that I liked a lot more than I thought I would.
Question 7: Favourite new authours?
Rainbow Rowell who I had somehow never heard of before 2019 and Stephanie Perkins- the queen of contemporary romance.
Question 8: Newest fictional crush?
Probably Dorian but I don't feel too in love with him so I'm gonna say Pilot who I am actually whole-heartedly in love with. (I am only 100 pages in at this point)
Question 9: Newest favourite character?
Celaena and Shane cause their both great.
Question 10: Book that made you cry?
I have 3:
-Crown of midnight (end of part 1)
-One (the very end)
-Allegiant (1 when I spoiled the end and 2 at the end)
Question 11: A book that made you happy?
Finding Audrey. I just love Sophie Kinsella, she cracks me up, I would read her shopping lists if she let me.
Question 12: The most beautiful book you brought in 2019?
-The shatter me series
-3 dark crows (the naked hardback one)
-five feet apart
Question 13: Books you need to read by the end of 2019?
*big intake of breath* all Cassandra Clare books, the rest of throne of glass, more john green, daisy jones and the six, Wayward son, the six of crows duo, war storm, after you, a darker shade of magic, scythe, renegades, the hazelwood, the cruel prince, the darkest minds, cinder, the 5th wave, Eragon, school of good and evil, the night circus, the uglies series, carve the mark, the shatter me series minus shatter me, THUG, our chemical hearts, the problem with forever, EOICF, Disney twisted tales, Everless, never greener, surprise me, the help, hidden figures and probably more I've forgotten about.
Yeah, I know.
What can I say I'm very ambitious.
Love
