I have an obsession. (My personal book buying ban exsperience and tips)

Dear reader,
today I'm going to tell you about buying books.
I definitely have a problem, I buy about 6 books a week, I read about 2 a week.
It's not good, I need help.
As a blogger, I do have to read all the new releases and It's an expensive hobby. A new paper-back costs £8, a hardback ranges from £13-£20.

So, I decided that I'm going on a book-buying ban. Now it's not forever, and it doesn't actually mean I can't buy books. All it means is that I have to read 4 before I buy 1.

I got this idea from Jessee the reader in his video called something along the lines of Book buying ban. In the video, he talks about keeping track of his reading in a bullet journal, which I'm also going to try.

So here are some tips if you like me, have a problem and need to do this too:

-make the book buying ban right in front of your eyes eg. home screen
-do not go in to book stores
-try and avoid new releases
-don't watch bookish youtube videos (especially not the hauls)
-avoid social media
-save your money in a savings account (where you can not touch it)
-read the ones you have you, absoloute idiot.

Love
x
