What is DNFing?

Dear reader,
today I'm going to talk about DNFing and why its okay to do.
In case you did not know DNFing translates to: Did Not Finish as in, did not finish a book I was reading. I have done this 4 times. With 4 different books that I will list below:

-Miracle of fourth avenue
reason for DNF:
This book was the definition of excreta. I wrote a blog about it called something like the worst book ever go read it if you want to. But don't read the book, waste of my life.

-The book thief
reason for DNF:
It was a bit boring and I was not in the mood however I will go back to it one day.

-Children of blood and bone
reason for DNF:
I was in a reading slump and needed to stop reading it because I lost track of what was going on. I will definitely read it before the sequel comes out though

-Dear Evan Hanson
reason for DNF:
Some things should stick to what there good at.
Also I don't really like scripts.

The point of telling you this is because I want all of you to know that DNFing books is not something we should feel guilty of. Hating the worlds most cherished books is not something to be guilty of. Its simple:
LIFE IS TO SHORT TO READ STUFF WE DO NOT ENJOY!
So, please please please if you are reading something that you do not enjoy reading, STOP WASTING PRECIOUS TIME ON IT! You are not always going to like your best friends favorite book and they will not always like yours. Life goes on.
In the same way however, if someone recommends you a book and you don't really like the sound of it, give it ago. It might surprise you!

I hope you enjoyed reading my rant, thanks for the positive feedback on my other blogs. I really appreciate it.
love
x
