it happened.

(disclaimer: no way am I trying to brag or anything of the sort)

hia!
sorry for the overdramatic title. this blog is a follow-on to my how to deal with tests and reports post.
so, yesterday I got my test results back for the maths test and I was quite surprised at my mark.

the highest in my specific class was 80% and the lowest was 39% the results were quite varied. if you were at the top of the class you were from 70% to 80% and you were in the middle you were from 50-69%.

I got 69% which meant I was just, just, juust below the top of the class and I got the 4th highest mark in my specific class. As you can (hopefully) guess I was really happy about that and, to be honest, it felt like a huge tone was lifted when I saw that little s- mark at the top.

In our school, we have a lot of ways of marking tests. basically, in our year you're supposed to get between d1, 2 and 3 c1, 2, 3 and s1,2 and 3 the highest being s3. s- meant s1, I was really chuffed!

I waited to do this blog today because my friends found out what mark they got this morning. my 2 best friends are in the highest group and they got in the high 80s and although I was happy for them I honestly could not give a frig if they got a lot higher then me. Mainly because I worked really hard and got a good mark for my class. plus, let's be real; who the hell needs to know the inequality of t on a number line in real life. Uh-hu!

To all my girls out there who have the slightest doubt that the people who got crazy high scores are better than them somehow, think again hun! We all have separate talents, we're all good at different things. that's the way it is. At least that's the way I think.

please share this blog's message with anyone who is struggling or stressed about exams and tests.

sorry, it was so short today. it's just a quick update.
short notice: thank for 100 subs, no way was I expecting that already, and a special shout out to buttingin@gmail.com for sharing the previous blog on exams with her group of friends who are going through mochs for gcses , wish you the best of luck!
